Blaxland granny flat

Rammed earth granny flat in 2020. The central rammed earth wall and front panels provide solidity to this simple design. The load baring rammed earth is free from cement which means the walls are low in embodied energy, breathable and help regulate temperatures and humidity levels.

Kurrajong garage

Featuring a sandstone log footing, this rammed earth garage was built with onsite materials and waste from the sandstone quarry. Entirely made from crushed sandstone and on-site clay. Erosion control layers are made with the same material with lime to ensure erosion protection.
